Free psychic readings: what you actually get, and what the free part costs later

Tarot cards spread on a table beside a candle

A free reading is a sales call. That is not cynicism; it is how the business is built. Nobody who reads for a living can give away the work, so the free part exists to get you to the paid part, and the paid part, at the places that advertise "free", is usually a curse that only they can lift.

I am Don Jacinto Nahual, curandero from Catemaco, Veracruz, and I read cards. I do not give free readings. I do give a free first call, and the difference between those two things is the whole point of this page.

How the funnel works

  • The free reading is short and general. It tells you something true enough that you nod.
  • Then a shadow appears in the cards. Something is blocking you. Someone envies you.
  • The removal is the product. It is priced after you are frightened, and it is priced high.
  • The first removal "did not take". A stronger one is needed. The tab climbs.

I have had people arrive at my table having paid four figures over a year to a "free" psychic. That is the real price of the free part.

Three lines that follow a free reading

  • "There is a curse on you and only I can remove it." The oldest script in the trade.
  • "Bring cash or gold to be cleansed." Theft, prosecuted as such in California.
  • "Do not tell anyone about this." Isolation is how the tab keeps climbing.

What is genuinely free, and what is not

A first phone call with me costs nothing, and it is not a reading. It is five minutes in which you say what is going on and I say whether it is something I handle or something a doctor, a therapist or a lawyer should. About a third of those calls end with me pointing the person somewhere else.

A reading is not free, and you hear the price before you sit down. A first cleansing is $97, about an hour, and that price does not move. If you want to understand what a reading actually is, read what to expect from a psychic reading; the service page is card reading.

Talk to Don Jacinto

Does any of this sound like what you are going through?

You do not have to carry it alone. Don Jacinto listens in person and works from the Catemaco tradition. The first call is free and everything you say stays between the two of you.
