He does not always use the same deck. Some questions answer better with the Spanish deck and others call for the arcana. Every reading is different because every person arrives with something different.

Don Jacinto listens first. Before touching the deck he lets you tell the whole case, without hurry, because what you bring decides which cards he reads with and how he lays them on the table.
Then he reads out loud what comes, card by card, as he goes. He does not save the interpretation for the end: he wants you to understand where each thing he tells you comes from.
A spread does not predict the future. It shows how the situation stands today and which roads remain open from where you are standing, which is not the same thing and is far more useful when a decision has to be made.
The cross spread is the one he uses most for matters of the couple. Four cards around a central one: what weighs, what helps, what is coming, and the bottom of the matter.
